Aquaponics

In the past we have designed custom Aquaponic system for local fish keepers. They can grow herbs and significantly reduce maintenance of fish tanks

Unfortunately they are not for sale now, but it is highly recommended that you build your own, so scroll down for resources on how to do that!

What is Aquaponics?

Aquaponics is symbiotic combination in which plants are fed the aquatic animals’ discharge or waste. In return, the vegetables clean the water that goes back to the fish.

Generally these systems work well on very large scales, mimicking natural

environments. Compared to traditional agriculture, it only takes 1/6th of the water to grow 8 times more food per acre! It is highly efficient, and all the natural fertilizer source is from fish waste.

How can you use this to your benefit?
